By Keith Londrie Woodcraft is the skill of making, carving or fashioning objects from wood. Along with mud, stone, and metal, wood was certainly one of the first materials used by primitive human beings in the construction of furniture. The most commonly employed woods include oak, pine, birch, walnut, willow, and cherry. Of the woods that appeared to have been highly valued were maple and citron. Among the rarer woods, essentially used for ornamental purposes, were ebony and satinwood. Without a doubt, the advancement of civilization was closely linked to the development of skills in crafting these materials. The design and style of exclusive woodcraft furniture lionizes the cultural richness of any civilization. After ornaments, some of the most exquisite items left behind from ancient Egypt are the furniture its people carved and used. Furniture shaped from wood is made not only for functionality but for beauty as well, a beauty that combined the best in intricate artistry while paying homage to the natural world. Cabinet making is the activity of employing many wood-crafting skills to build cabinets, shelves and furniture. Woodcraft cabinets are very popular and include intense carvings such as veneering, marquetry, fretwork, and lacquered work. Skillfully designed woodcraft cabinets add to the beauty of both internal and external decor and are aesthetically adored for their elaborate craftsmanship. It takes time to develop the skills needed to become a master craftsman, but once the learning curve has been tackled, there is no end to what a skilled craftsman can produce. The old adage, "You get what you pay for" still holds true. Woodcraft cabinets are expensive and it is no mean task finding fine woodcraft cabinets that are built to last. To avail of the best bargain deals, browse through discount stores and wholesale prices on the Internet, or visit ones in retail buildings. However, shopping online is wiser, as you can easily locate craftsmen that will make exactly what you want, as per the design you have in mind. You truly don't need to go further than your processor, when looking for beautifully handcrafted wood cabinets that are difficult to part with once acquired. These works of art will bring many admirers throughout time. Cheap cabinets made from particleboard will not last and will soon need replacement. A wise man once said, "The devil is in the details". High-quality woodcraft cabinets are always created from good wood and may last for several centuries. Something nice to pass down to your children, their children etc. Keith Londrie II is a well known author. He has written many great articles on many topics,
including woodcraft. For more information, please visit http://www.about-woodcraft.info/

Privately Rebuke a Brother and if He Repents Forgive Him - Matthew 18:15, Luke 17:3-4
By Matthew Robert Payne Matthew 18:15 (New King James Version) 15 Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother. Luke 17:3-4 (New King James Version) 3 Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. 4 And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, I repent, you shall forgive him. So many times in the Christian life a person flesh can rise up or a difference of opinion or in teaching can arise and people can hurt each other. We are all works in progress and the enemy loves to have to brothers fall out of sorts with each other. May of us do not go back to the brother and take them aside and tell them how they hurt us. May of do not take the time to be honest with our brother and instead go and tell others what a jerk that person is and when people we tell agree we say in self righteousness that we have to forgive them, but we are not going to hang around them anymore because they have to learn a lesson. Last night I had to take a person aside and rebuke him for trouble that he caused in my life by bringing a person that hates me to my sanctuary and place of worship with the express intent of seeing me get unhappy and lose control of myself. When this brother was asked if that was the reason he had brought the enemy of mine to my church he laughed and agreed that it was the reason. This cause me so much distress and even though the man that hates me left after six weeks I was annoyed that this person only invited him with the express intent of hurting me and making a fool of me in front of people that love and respect me. When confronted he denied that this was the reason and would not repent and admit that this was the reason saying that this enemy has a right to worship anywhere he likes and that he invited him to his church for a change and it had no way of getting me upset. After church we went out for a coffee and I confronted him again in the presence of the man that had told me about his motive and who had seen him laugh and after a few minutes of protest he conceded that he had done it maliciously as I claimed and asked me to forgive him. I told it that it was okay and asked him to please not invite him anywhere else that I might go in the future and keep it a secret. I was having trouble forgiving this guy and I had tried to do it but it kept on coming back. Seeing him say sorry and ask for my forgiveness shifted my heart and I have re found my love for my brother and re gained the former respect I had for him. This is a command of Jesus that we go to a person that has hurt us and let them know how they hurt us. If they repent we are to forgive them. Indeed if they continue to hurt us we are to continue to rebuke them in love and continue to forgive until our grace and love changes their behavior around us and others. The Holy Spirit brings us conviction for sin and asks us to repent in private. Jesus does not go and blab to our pastor or other Christians of our sin but he approaches out hearts and asks us for an apology and for us to not do it again. Even when we fall again he privately comes and asks us to repent again.
Christians have big gossip clubs and are forever talking about the sins of to others, when instead they should be going to the people that hurt them and asking for an apology and quickly making peace. When you have unforgiveness it dries up your walk with the Lord and your prayers stop being answered and when you continue in sin it brings sickness to your life. Jesus has commanded us to do so and we should do this from this day on. Today I have also had to rebuke a very dear friend of mine that I hope to be ministering with in the future. It was a very long email and it clearly laid out what I felt and what the person had done and asked for repentance to be forthcoming. After writing this I feel a whole lot better as I know the person will be very sorry for what they did and it will clearly teach them what not to do n the future with me. Jesus is a Master, He is the wisest on earth. We need to obey Him in this and so from this point on rebuke a brother or sister IN PRIVATE when they hurt you and you will win a brother back when they repent. If they dont repent you have the model to bring witnesses and so on. Wedding Planning - Part V
By Michael Russell In this fifth of a series of articles about planning your wedding we're going to pick up with ordering any special equipment. Every wedding is going to be different. Therefor each wedding is going to have different items that will be needed. At this time you should go over the list of any special items that will be needed such as arch, floral pillars, etc. If you're not sure of something, ask. The last thing you want is to arrive at your ceremony and find that something you need isn't there. We now come up to 2 months before your big day. These are the things that should be done around this time. First thing is to inform your clergyman about the details of your ceremony. Make sure he is comfortable with what you want to do, especially the wedding vows. Make him aware of any special music you're planning to have at the ceremony. The last thing you want is for your clergyman to be standing up there with you and not knowing what's going to happen next. Start keeping a gift diary and write thank you notes as gifts arrive. Yes, some people will send you gifts early, most likely because they can't attend. So start keeping tabs on what has come in. Doing this as they arrive saves you from going crazy with this all at once. Next you have to fine tune your guest list. This is where the final cuts are made. It's a painful process but it has to be done. Hopefully, even though invitations haven't been mailed yet, you will have received word from some people that they will not be able to attend. This will make the process of fine tuning the list a little easier. Around this time you should start planning your rehearsal dinner. Make sure you leave nothing to chance here. You want to make sure that after the rehearsal itself the dinner will actually be there and ready. Select the gifts that you're going to be giving to the members of your wedding party. You don't have to go overboard here, unless you can afford to, but don't be cheap about it. These people after all are a big part of your day and you should treat them as such. Give them something that they'll remember. A lot of people forget about this but around this time you're going to have to make moving arrangements, unless you're planning on living with your parents. Somehow that is probably not your first choice. Make sure you have a place to live when you get back from your honeymoon. Around this time is when you have your final gown fitting and final portrait sitting. You're not going to get a second chance at this so make sure the gown fits just right and you're totally please with how your portrait is coming. In the next article in this series we're going to pick up with what to do starting 1 month before the big day.

Conducting Pre-Employment Reference Inquiries and Background Investigations
By L Scott Harrell Reference and background inquiries allow an employer to verify information provided by the applicant. Companies who make proper and judicious use of the information gathered as a result of a thorough background investigation typically reduce exposure to employee fraud, theft, embezzlement, turnover, unqualified employees, negligent hiring claims and violence in the workplace. The following are the most important aspects that makeup a background investigation. Additionally, how the information can be used to significantly reduce employee difficulties and employment litigation is also discussed: EMPLOYER REFERENCES-
Checking past employers is used primarily to verify information provided by the applicant on resumes and applications such as dates of employment, job title, compensation, reasons for separation, and re-hire status. With even a small amount of information provided by a past or current employer, you may be able to gauge an applicants skill, ability and honesty or perhaps areas such as attendance problems, violent behavior, and manageability. Required element in the defense of negligent hiring claims (regardless of whether or not the reference shares information). EDUCATION VERIFICATION-
An important integrity check. Surveys suggest that as many as 1 in 3 resumes and applications contain inaccurate education assertions and that more than 500,000 Americans have bought their academic degrees. This area contains the second highest rate of inaccuracy, behind salary. This check verifies education commiserate with position requirements. This is one of the easiest checks to pursue. This may include industry specific certifications and other non-degree-oriented training. PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL REFERENCES-
Similar to screening employer references and great for gaining an insight into some personality traits of the applicant. Addresses of friends and family that are in other states, or are otherwise a great distance away, may also indicate that the candidate had lived in that area. This is important regarding criminal record checks. DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLE REPORTS-
May verify the type, status, validity, and restrictions of the applicants drivers license. Can also be used to verify information provided by the candidate such as current address, date of birth and license endorsements. Essential if the applicant will drive on company time or use company vehicles. May indicate a history of substance abuse. Required element in the defense of negligent hiring claims. SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER TRACE-
A specialized report that may indicate a social security numbers validity or uncover aliases and other people using the same number. Generally includes a candidates current and previously reported addresses for comparison to an application. Previous addresses should be used in the criminal history check. Required element in defense of negligent hiring claims. CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS-
Make a thorough criminal background check. It is not uncommon for employers to be sued for an employees illegal acts. Do not check arrest histories, only records of criminal convictions. Compare to application to determine a candidates honesty. You should not immediately disqualify a candidate for convictions, unless they are not included on the application. Convictions must recent and job related (i.e. driver applicant with a DWI conviction or a retail candidate convicted of shoplifting or theft). The criminal background check is essential in considering a candidates character, integrity, history of violent behavior, and suitability for the job. It is best to visit the appropriate countys Clerk of Court criminal records office in person but you can also reach them by phone, fax, computer or mail. Past performance is indicative of future results. Required element in the defense of negligent hiring claims. If you should find information that causes you not to hire an individual, keep a copy for your records. PRE-EMPLOYMENT CREDIT CHECK-
Also called a PEER report by credit reporting bureaus. This report is similar to a standard consumer credit report. It may contain secured and unsecured loan, revolving credit (credit card) and other debt information, as well as payment history. It may include information from public record sources such as judgments, liens, and bankruptcies. Used to gauge a candidates fiscal responsibility and financial pressures. May also include information from the less expensive Social Security Trace. FEDERAL AND STATE LICENSE VERIFICATION-
Used when an applicant must have a license for the job. Verifies the validity, type and status of required licensing. Complaints and administrative actions regarding licensed individuals may also be available. Required element in the defense of negligent hiring claims. HONESTY, ATTITUDE AND PERSONALITY TESTING-
Although not a background or reference investigation, these tests have a definite place in the pre-hire process. These surveys measure a candidates attitude regarding honesty, ethics, substance abuse, reliability, work and supervisors. These test typically cost between $6-$10 per candidate. Over 45% of Fortune 100 Companies use profile testing at some level in their organization. DRUG SCREENING-
Again, tests for the use of illicit drug use also have a definite place in the pre-hire process. Many studies have linked drug use in the workplace to higher than average losses. According to one such study, the average theft incident per employee with a substance addiction is 6.3 times higher than to the average theft incident committed by a non-addicted employee. OSHA has recently re-released information indicating that employees in companies with drug screening programs are 4 times less likely to have job related accidents, equating to greater productivity and profits. Required element in the defense of negligent hiring claims (especially when employees operate machinery, drive on company time or use company vehicles). Keep in mind, the results from these reports must be compared against provided information in order to measure an applicants honesty. Hiring a dishonest candidate is never a good decision. There are many more sources for background and reference investigations than have been included here; a licensed private investigation agency specializing in pre-employment investigations may be able to help you identify and obtain any additional needs. As in all aspects of the hiring process, federal and state laws may govern how you use or share information obtained while conducting these and other checks; always maintain documentation generated as a result of these reports. Furthermore, all positions do not require every check or screening process included; for example, a waiters position in a restaurant may not warrant the expense of a credit check, motor vehicle report or psychological profile testing. Some Important Considerations: All employers should seriously consider a comprehensive drug-screening program. Any time a state or federal license is required for the position, a license verification check must be completed. Background investigations for jobs requiring access to cash, financial records, and valuable merchandise (jewelry, weapons, electronics, etc.) should include a pre-employment credit check, with check-ups performed semi-annually. Department of Motor Vehicle Records should be checked semi-annually. Criminal Background checks should be completed once a year. Additional investigation components should be verified when an employee is promoted. There are many other checks and resources available to the public that can be used to uncover possible sources of fraud, theft, and dishonesty. The components listed above are the most common elements of a background investigation and are not meant to be an exhaustive study. The services of a competent investigations company should be sought to discuss additional options. L. Scott Harrell is the author of Truth or Consequences: Hiring for Integrity, a manual which completely and accurately describes proven pre-employment hiring strategies and interviewing skills developed from 14 years of experience as a private investigator and principal of CompassPoint Investigations. What do you know about the services or goods our company provides?
What are your short and long term goals?
Describe your strengths and weaknesses.
What is the greatest challenge youve ever faced and how did you overcome it? While on the topic of questions, develop a mental list of your own to ask the employer. After all, this could be your future employer; therefore, you should demonstrate enthusiasm and interest for the job for which you are applying. Some suggestions are: What are the key responsibilities of this position?
What is a typical work day like? But no matter how tempting, do not ask about how much money you will be making! A fourth bit of advice is to bring extra copies of your resume and references with you to the interview. This simple little step shows that you are conscientious; never take the chance of an employer not being able to view all of your hard work and accomplishments just because he didnt have a copy of your resume handy. A fifth step that is frequently overlooked is lining up your list of references before they are contacted by a potential employer. Your list of contacts should be well-versed on your work skills and strengths and have direct knowledge of your job performance. Guarantee that you receive glowing recommendations by informing your references in advance that they may be contacted by a potential employer. The following is a list of dos and donts to go over when preparing for the job interview. Do: Verify directions and parking before the day of interview.
Go alone. That means no Mom or your best friend.
Arrive a little early. Ten to fifteen minutes early is a good practice.
Be clean and well groomed. Ladies, avoid nail polish, strong perfume, and loud colors and jewelry. Fellows, dont use strong cologne and avoid wearing jewelry.
Smile and shake hands firmly.
Make good eye contact.
Speak clearly and use proper grammar.
Ask for clarification if you dont understand a question.
Take time to think about your answers.
Ask when a hiring decision will be made.
Thank the prospective employer for their time.
Write a follow-up letter to the prospective employer within one day following the interview. Dont: Speak too fast.
Smoke or chew anything.
Ask about salary.
Discuss personal or financial problems.
Criticize your former employers or colleagues. Remember that the prospective employer has already expressed an interest in you by contacting you for an interview. Take advantage of this golden opportunity by thoroughly preparing yourself to land that dream job. You may find yourself reporting for work on Monday morning. Five Ideas for a More Romantic Honeymoon
By Jerry Windley-Daoust Candles, rose petals, satin, succulent foods, perfumeyoure probably already familiar with all of these time-honored ingredients for creating a romantic mood on your honeymoon. But candles, rose petals, and other sensual ingredients only go so far. The real key to creating a romantic honeymoon is to spend time celebrating your relationship and your new life together as a married couple. After all, romance is more about the heart than the body. That doesnt mean you should put the candles away, but start setting the mood early by reveling in your relationship. Here are five ideas to get you started. 1. Explore uncharted territory
Intimacy is a key ingredient for creating a romantic mood. In its most basic sense, intimacy is about revealing our interior selves to another personthe part of ourselves that we normally hide from others. When we do this, we honor the other person as someone we cherish and trust. Since its often difficult to start sharing in this way, a game or book of questions can help. The classic game of relationship questions is the Ungame, while the classic questions book is (appropriately enough) The Book of Questions by Gregory Stock. Each of these products contains hundreds of questions on topics ranging from ethics (What would you do if . . . ?) to feelings and ideas. These are just two of many similar products that you can use in almost any settingeven in the car or airplane on the way to your honeymoon destination. 2. Combine Your Photo Albums
Buy your first photo album together, if you don't get one at your wedding. Bring out your photo albums and choose the best photos of each other from your dating days to put in your new albumit's a great way to relive old memories. 3. Write a Dream Letter
Write letters to each other about your dreams for your marriage. What do you hope your marriage will look like in ten, twenty, or thirty years? Exchange the letters on the first day of your marriage, and then save them to read on your wedding anniversary. 4. Leave Memory Notes Everywhere
Nothing creates a romantic mood better than remembering your best moments together as a couple. Purchase some small notepaper or post-it notes and spend some time digging up your favorite memories of your spouse. How did you meet? How did your first kiss come about? What is the goofiest thing he or she ever did? When was your spouse there for you when you needed him or her the most? Then spend some time thinking of the memories youd most like to share with your spouse over the course of your marriage. Write these all down on the note paper, and hide them all over the place at your honeymoon destination (on the pillow, in the luggage, in the rental car, etc.). 5. Share the Love
The funny thing about love is you get more by giving it away. That's as true for newlyweds as for anyone else, so find ways to share your love with others. Start by committing random acts of kindnessboth toward each other and complete strangers. Visit the Random Acts of Kindness Foundation web page for inspiration (http://www.actsofkindness.org/). One of our favorite stories there is about a young woman who was caught in the rain when a complete stranger gave her his own umbrella. When she asked how she would return it to him, he just smiled and walked away. Creating great memories like that adds a magical twist to your honeymoon. Penny Stock Thoughts
By Rob Rens According to a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission warning, Investors in penny stocks should be prepared for the possibility that they may lose their whole investment." Its probably justified. Theres no doubt that true penny stocks are among the surest ways to lose all your money in the stock market. But, that being the case, why do so many investors love penny stocks? If you type penny stocks" into Google it spits out more than 8.5-million hits. If you do the same for blue-chip stocks" you get about half that number and if you type in dividend-paying stocks" you get about half that again. The folks at Fool.com reckon its because the world of pennies is inhabited by hardworking average Joes hoping to strike it rich, pumpers and dumpers, hypesters and scammers. In pennies, the logic and reason that applies in the rest of daily life is replaced by zeal and prayer. But there may be another reason. And that is that the rest of the stock market can be so utterly boring. Lets face it, unless youve got huge amounts of money on the line, how excited can you get when one of your blue chips has a really big day and moves up 1.5%? A penny stock can easily double in price in a matter of days. What are the chances of an Anglo [Nasdaq:AAUK] or a Billiton [NYSE:BHP] doing that in a couple of years? And, while it must be said that buying some penny stocks may be more akin to picking up a lotto ticket on the way home from work than making a rational investment decision, thats not to say that you shouldnt go looking for big returns from a penny stock with a reasonable amount of cash, no debt and a CEO - or better still, a CEO/founder - who has a substantial ownership in the business. Yes, they are the exception. And, yes, of course, they are hard to find. But the point is this: provided youre willing to put in the effort and you understand that this is a high-risk area that certainly isnt going to suit everyone - in other words, that you fully understand what youre getting into - you shouldnt let anyone dissuade you from buying a penny stock simply because it is a penny stock. The thing to remember is not to take a chance on something you dont understand. There's A Song In The Air At Band Camp
By M. Jedediah If your child is an aspiring musician, band camp may be the perfect choice for his next summer camp. These camps will encourage or spark interest in musical talent. In some cases, band camps are required for students to participate in school band programs. Whatever the case, your child will develop their musical and marching abilities. Band camps are generally available as both day camps and residential camps. Many schools that require their band students to attend band camp will offer a day camp in order to cut expenses. If your child wants to learn from teachers other than the ones he spends his school year with, however, he may want to go to a residential camp. In cases where your child decides to go away to a band camp, he is likely to learn from professional musicians. Often these camps will specialize in only one instrument, or only one group of instruments such as strings or woodwinds. These camps can include options such as private lessons, ensemble and group work. Most band camps also require students to learn the basics of marching and drill work. These fundamentals are necessary for those wishing to participate in a drum and bugle corps, or even a high school marching band. Many high schools that have a marching band program require students to attend a band camp in order to be allowed to play in the band. In some of these camps students will actually go to a college campus or other facility where they will stay in the college dorms as well as use the colleges music facilities to practice. Often music majors studying at the college will provide special instruction and also help teach the music and drill. Other high school band camps simply meet as a day camp at the students own high school. During these camps, professionals will often be hired and brought in to help teach students needed aspects of the music and drill. The basic goal of high school band camps is to teach students the music and footwork for their halftime field show which will be performed during school football games. During a one or two week course of camp, students will learn to play and commit their music to memory. In addition to playing music, students must learn to stay in step with each other and make the drill, which is actually broken down into numerous segments to make it easier to learn, seem seamless. In order to make a field show successful, students must learn to listen to and watch each other. Without these skills, a field show can look and sound sloppy and unprofessional. In addition to improving their musical ability, students also learn life lessons such as cooperation and discipline while in band camp. Whether your child is required to attend band camp or if he simply wants to improve his musical talent, these camps are an excellent way to spend the summer. Home Improvement Loans: A Good Home Must be Made, not Bought
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Steve_C_Clark]Steve C Clark Mid pleasures and palaces though we may roam, be it ever so humble, there's no place like home....this quote holds true for most of us. Home is the place where we spend most of our time with our loved ones, and all of us dream of having this perfect place to spend our lives with these perfect people. So, you want your home to be your paradise but you cannot afford it then a home improvement loan can help you achieve this perfection. Home improvement loan is tailored for those who wish to make improvements in their home. You can undertake any kind of home improvements with the loan money ranging from adding of a bedroom, kitchen, restructuring, landscaping the garden, adding to the safety of the house, electrical and plumbing work, renovation, new furniture or anything you have desired for. There are two ways of going for the home improvement loans:
unsecured home improvement loans
secured home improvement loans Unsecured home improvement loans do not require any collateral as security, it is generally ideal for projects costing less in value. However the borrower may have to pay a higher rate of interest to cover for the risk factor of the lender. Secured home improvement loans like any other secured loan requires property as collateral. Collateral can be in the form of a home, other property in the borrowers name, a bank account, automobiles, jewellery or any securable asset of the kind. Ideally these are better than unsecured counterpart as they carry flexible terms and lower rates of interest. This is because the lender can be assured of repayment when collateral of sizable value is placed against it. Home improvement can be required by any body therefore these loans are available to everyone even to people with bad credit. The home improvement loan is a short-term low with an interest rate dependent upon the lending institution and the personal credit of the borrower as well information about the home mortgage and home value. If you go for home improvement it increases the value of the home which helps the owners when the owner wants to sell the house. It often helps in getting a better deal for the home as a furnished home would fetch a better price then an unfurnished one. Finding the best home improvement loans is largely a matter of getting quotes from several different lenders and comparing them to see which one offers the best interest rate and loan terms. You can get deals online as well Steve Clark can tell you how to look better, live better and breathe better by giving you tips to improve your finances. He writes on loans. By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=John_Carry]John Carry Secured homeowner loans are a type of secured loan that is taken against the security. Perfect Vegan Weight Loss Diet
By Chess McDoogle The perfect vegan weight loss diet is going to consist of a food combination that is balanced with vegetables, fruits, and nuts, (or other sources of "good fat" which will aid in energy and feeling full). Be weary of vegan weight loss diets which promote heavy use of breads and pasta's. While these may fall under the definition of a 'vegetarian diet', they generally do not promote weight loss, rather this type of vegan weight loss diet can prevent weight loss from happening while actually increasing fat. High glycemic carbs, such as white bread and refined sugar foods should also be avoided. They can stimulate insulin surges and cause people to eat 60 - 70% more calories at the following meal. Again, they may fall under the umbrella of vegetarian but they are far from a real vegan weight loss diet. A vegan weight loss diet ideally should consist of a large amount of vegetables, a moderate to minimal amount of fruit, and a moderate to minimal amount of vegetarian foods that contain healthy fats such as nuts, avocados, or certain oils like flax seed. The moderate to minimal recommendations all depend on how one personally reacts to fruit sugars and healthy fats. Some individuals do better on a vegan weight loss diet when they cut down a bit on their fruit intake, replacing them with instead with more vegetables. When including grains and complex carbohydrates, again one should start with moderate to minimal amounts and gauge there vegan weight loss diet progress, and always be careful not to overeat these foods. Again, the main elements to a successful vegan weight loss diet are high vegetable intake, and moderate to minimal fruits and healthy fats. There are many delicious, satisfying and filling vegan weight loss diet recipes available on the internet that center around these food combining elements. The perfect vegan weight loss diet? http://www.squidoo.com/anti-aging-exercise/ Chess discusses both weight loss and anti aging in his blog and directs the reader to real life examples of the perfect vegan weight loss diet. Nokia 6102, 6103 and 6102i; Camera Phone
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Jawahn_Thompson]Jawahn Thompson Not long after introducing their 6102 model (6103 for T-Mobile) cellular telephone, Nokia put out the 6102i, essentially adding in the feature they must have forgotten with the 6102, Bluetooth capability. They didn't add Bluetooth in exchange for any of the winning features that made the 6102 and 6103 so popular. Unless you have a very keen eye for detail, you won't notice any cosmetic difference between the three models. With conservative lines and a traditional clamshell closure, the 6102 family of phones is very sleek without being flashy. As with many of Nokia's clamshell phones, you can see basic information, such as battery level, signal strength and time on the external LCD screen with capacity of up to 4000 colors. On the 6102i Bluetooth model, you'll find the infrared port along the right side of the phone. The volume keys are on the left where previous Nokia owners will find very familiar. The speakerphone can be found along the spine of the phone and the pop-port connection is along the bottom. Once you open the 6102, 6103 or 6102i you'll find the easy to read 65K color screen. Sure, you could spend more for 262K color or even 16.7 million color screens that the higher-end models are boasting of. Taking photos is quick and easy with Nokia's 6102 line. The lens is located at the top of the camera when closed and just above the pivot when open. Once you've triggered the camera, you can begin snapping shots with the phone open or closed just by aiming and pressing the dedicated camera key. The .3 megapixel won't take Ansel Adams images and does come up a little lacking compared to other standard middle-of-the-road mobile devices that are now including 1.3 megapixels with up to 3+ megapixels found in many higher-end models. Don't expect to make prints of any pictures you shoot. If you use the camera capabilities to make phone wallpapers or send to friends on their digital devices. Your still shots can be up to 640 x 480 in size with settings for high, normal and basic image quality. When the camera is set to high resolution, all .3 megapixels will be used. Fewer pixels are used to create the image when set to normal and fewer still when on the basic setting. There are timer and night mode functions included in the 6201 line of phones, but they are mediocre at best. No digital zoom, artistic filter, exposure or brightness adjustments and lack of color balance all make the camera feature a bit more disappointing than previous and more recent Nokia models. Video recording resolution is 128 x 96 pixels and is encoded in 3GP codec format. You can send video recordings to friends and family, but don't expect to win any Emmy's for your direction or capture of the event of the century. Even if you could capture it, the blurriness and overall low quality of the video clips would render it almost useless. Bottom line, if you want to take pictures or video with your camera for usefulness rather than novelty, look to another Nokia model. Just as the Nokia 6102 falls short in the camera and video department, so it does in the audio department. There's no MP3 player and the quality is downright inadequate. The saving grace is that this device does include an FM radio with the capability to preset up to 20 stations and it supports MP3 and downloadable ringtones. As mentioned earlier, sending text messages is pretty easy with this phone. Nokia bridged the gap between messaging and chatting by adding AOL Instant Messenger (AIM), Yahoo! Messenger and MSN Messenger capabilities to this phone. Chatting by phone takes on a whole new meaning. You aren't limited to text-only messages, you are also able to send and receive multimedia messages in the form of pictures. The recently introduced Nokia Xpress will allow you to send video as well. The package of applications on the 6102 line of phones is very similar to other Nokia phones: a phone book that holds up to 500 entries, an alarm clock, calculator, timer, calendar, notes and to-do list. The 6102i is equipped with POP3, IMAP4 and SMTP protocols to allow you to check your email without much work. The 6102 line is Java compatible. Storage capacities are less than stellar, with just 4.2 MB of internal memory. This might leave you wanting more if you are a shutterbug, like to store email or text messages or just like to download games and ringtones in your spare time. There's no expansion slot, either, so you only get 4.2 MB. If you are looking for a quality phone without flashiness that comes with many updated devices, the Nokia 6201 line might be for you. With Bluetooth and a solid design, you'll find this little nugget to be handy and sturdy with Internet capabilities without a lot of other fancy gadgetry to pay for. Tips On Dating When Online Is Not For You
By Maureen Staiano There are a lot of sites and articles relating to online dating. The pros and cons, the great love matches and the dating horror stories. I know quite a few people who have pursued this avenue when looking for Mr. or Ms. Right. How about some tips on dating if online does not work for you? Some of the people I talked to have had average success and are still pursuing the perfect partner online give or take a few flaws. Others I know have tried it and felt it was not quite for them and moved onto other avenues of meeting someone. Many of my friends found that despite all the tips on dating available online, the people they eventually met had not been totally honest in their representations. Meeting someone that you want to form a relationship with can be difficult. People move around quite often for work and getting connected in a new area can seem quite daunting.
When you are heading toward middle age and maybe find yourself single after a divorce you can feel confused as to where to start. It can seem like a whole new world out there in todays dating scene. After a certain age the bar scene does not quite cut it and if you are not a drinker it certainly isnt a great choice. Its tough to try and get to know someone in a noisy crowded atmosphere. Perhaps your old group of friends has scattered or worse yet, you are currently the only single person in your crowd. You are looking for a special someone but feel that the online dating services are just not for you, where do you go? The following are some of the successful tips on dating I have received from friends who have faced the same situation and were successful at meeting new friends and possible romantic partners. 1. Get involved in something in your community. Volunteer. Volunteering brings many people together for a unified purpose. It could be a community project or sometimes there are places such as the humane society (if you are an animal lover). If you happen to be a parent, the school is always looking for volunteers. Just check your local paper. It is a great resource for finding whats going on in your town and where they could use some help. 2. Join a club. Again the local paper will list different clubs, some designed expressly for singles. Find something that interests you and jump right in. If you change your mind later and feel it isnt right for you, move on to something else. At least this way you are in the process. 3. There are often some adult recreational sports that are fun and you get your exercise as well. This particular one worked for me. I had joined an adult recreational volleyball league after my divorce and met the man who eventually became my second husband. 4. I have a few friends who have taken evening classes at the local college or through adult education and met people they were interested in. Its always easier to strike up a conversation when you know that you and the other person already share a common interest. 5. Dont be afraid of having your friends set you up on a blind date. Hopefully they at least know a little about your likes and dislikes and will keep that in mind as they make a recommendation. Either way try to keep an open mind and just treat as good practice for the next person that comes into your life. These are just a few tips on dating to consider if you find yourself a little ill at ease with online dating. Without a doubt, dating online has worked for many people but it may not be the best answer for everyone.
